Grades 6–8
As students enter Middle School, they leave the homeroom setting and meet with specialists for each of their core subjects. The multidisciplinary curriculum provides opportunities for creative thinking, self-expression and strong character development. The flexible but rigorous program is designed to challenge students to achieve their highest individual potential and prepare them for entrance into high school. The Middle School also hosts a range of extra-curricular activities including theater arts, community service projects, student government, and competitive interscholastic team sports. The program is further distinguished by the culminating one-week trip abroad for 8th graders to study foreign culture, art and history.
Dynamic programs that address the needs of all students include: individual learning profiles, yoga, Making Math Real, study skills classes and social skills groups.
