The Laurel School
Title Background
Middle School

Middle school is a difficult time for all children but especially so for students who have specialized learning needs. Our middle school students transition from the self-contained classroom approach to meet with teaching specialists for their core subjects. Laurel’s multidisciplinary curriculum provides opportunities for creative thinking, self-expression, and strong character development.

Because our teachers are so highly qualified, we are able to challenge students with our flexible and rigorous programs in preparation for high school. Students may participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities including theater arts, community service projects, student government, and competitive interscholastic team sports.
